The Minimal Minute: Episode 1 - Introduction
Introducing: a whole new facet to The Minimal Minute universe! To give you guys more variety while hopefully making a more meaningful connection with you, these videos will showcase different tips and tricks on how to live a more minimal life. This episode is extra lighthearted since it's my first time and the nerves were flowing!
My goal for these episodes is to focus on one tip and cover it in about a minute's time. So many videos have 30+ seconds of titles, intros, and music that are completely unnecessary before the video actually starts. I want to know how to scour a cast iron skillet, not what each and every of your social media handles are! Okay, enough of that rant. (Yes, I know this very video has an introduction, but it's my first one and therefore it's entirely justified.)
Episode Synopsis
I will also be including episode synopses for the 99% of you who are probably at work right now. In today's episode, I give a quick breakdown of what I want these videos to be, followed by a quick tip for eating out of takeout boxes. For years, I had been struggling with takeout boxes. The food inside is so so good, but the cost of entry is equally high. But with a quick bit of unfolding, you can transform the box into a food shovel, plate-bowl hybrid, or simply a plate.
This will change the way you think about takeout forever. You'll start inviting friends over for dinner, ordering takeout, then blowing their minds. It really is that powerful. I'll include some photos below so you can get a more visceral idea of what I'm talking about.
Apparently an earthquake took place during most of the filming of this episode. Note to all podcasters out there: the Settlers of Catan board game box placed on its side does not for a steady tripod make.
